Fried chicken sliders were amazing. Great low-key place to grab a relaxing dinner or drink
Delicious yummy turkey burgers! We went here after a show one night and we were the last table in the restaurant/bar. We ordered the turkey burgers and were so incredibly pleased. The waiter was friendly and efficient. I would happily go back here for the turkey burgers. I love the location, near our hotel and broadway shows. I wish I didn't have to listen to the blaring music from the kitchen as well as the music in the main bar area. I would go back!
Cool vibe! Great drinks and food! Just popped in here on way to the Gershwin. So mad I did not take more photos! We had food too. The Shrimp Club was AMAZING! And the Arugula salad with steak very good. Thank you! Great place!
After realizing we would never find three seats together at Lillie's, we ducked into West End and were rewarded by finding the perfect spot at the end of the bar just waiting for us. We were lucky to be seated at Dana's end of the bar and she was exactly what we needed! We ordered a few rounds of drinks (I had the Bee Sting and the Red Sangria, and we shared a bottle of the Stellini di Notte Prosecco). I also ordered the Napa Chicken Sandwich with the truffle fries. Even knowing I was going to be walking around the City all day, I wished I had brought a cooler bag to bring home my leftovers. That sandwich was absolutely delicious. We sat at the bar for over two hours - catching up with friends I haven't seen in over a decade - and no one made us feel like we were overstaying our welcome. We were glad to be mostly tucked into a corner and given some privacy. It was a great experience. I try to stay on the 8th/9th side when I am seeing a show on Broadway, and West End is going to be my first stop from now on.
We tried this restaurant because they had good ratings and it was close to our hotel on a rainy night. The restaurant/bar isn't big but still a decent size for a city restaurant. Service was good. Our food came out fast and hot. Everything tasted fresh. I like that I could see chunks of salmon in the sliders. I would have preferred more seasoning/flavor but that's my tastebuds. The regular sliders were decent. The chicken with the chicken and waffles was great. White meat and well seasoned.
Still not over my incredibly delicious meal! The menu was laid back and casual, so I didn't expect every dish to be so show-stopping and delicious. They have truly elevated casual meals like burgers and sandwiches and turned them into something highly impressive. I can't wait to try their new menu coming soon, and I had to have a talk with the manager to make sure they were keeping my favorite dishes. Good news, they are! Can't wait to go back! Thanks for the great collab. Here's what we ordered: ~Stella Artois- well balanced malls, crisp hop bitterness ~Brooklyn lager- Amber gold, firm, bitterness and floral hop aromas ~Tuna tartare-fresh sushi grade tuna, soy sauce, chili oil, avocado, crispy wonton chips- This dish was so fresh! ~Classic burger with American cheese, bacon, mushrooms- We also added yuca fries! This was such a solid and juicy burger. I love how they used a portobello mushroom on top for extra umami. ~Short rib grilled cheese- short rib, brie cheese, caramelized onions, sliced pickles, sourdough This is truly a must order! The brie is creamy heavenly and the short rib is oh so tender! I love the sweetness from the caramelized onions. ~Steak tacos- filet mignon, peppers, onions; guacamole, lime crema- I can not stress this enough:ORDER THIS. The steak was cooked to perfection and these tacos were stuffed. Absolutely phenomenal. I highly recommend you check this restaurant out.
Found this spot walking around theatre district before a matinee. It was a good find! It was quiet inside and our party of 2 was seated right away. Service was good throughout our meal, it felt like we were being served by both waitresses. We both ordered the Chipotle Burger off of the brunch menu and it was so good! The Chipotle sauce was delicious, burger and bacon were cooked perfectly, and the cilantro and bun were nice touches. I upgraded my side to the truffle fries and the truffle aioli dipping sauce was amazing. The one thing that wasn't so good was the watermelon margarita. It didn't have much lime/margarita or watermelon flavor, I've had better watermelon margs elsewhere. I wish I'd either chosen a different drink or just stuck to water.
